Is it just me or is this year speeding by us? Well, it's March. So here are our 2 scriptures to memorize this month.
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Romans 12:21
This one short sentence challenges and empowers us. First, we are challenged to not let evil overcome us. Then we are empowered to defeat evil with good.
To gain better context, you'll need to understand that the verses before this one are dealing with forgiveness and vengeance. So you can overcome, conquer, and defeat thoughts of vengeance (evil) with acts of forgiveness (good). With the Holy Spirit, you have the power to overcome evil with good.
Show me your ways Lord, teach me your paths.
Psalm 25:4
This is a very small part of a prayer David prayed that would be beneficial for us to pray- not just today, but everyday. Imagine how different our minds, families, and other areas of our lives would be if we modeled ourselves after the way God taught us.
